Arminia Bielefeld's U21 top scorer Latif-Bilal Alassane joins Regionalliga promoted team SV Westfalia Rhynern. The 21-year-old striker scored 15 points in the Oberliga season, ten goals and five assists. Alassane was trained at SV Rödinghausen from the C to the A youth team and then played almost exclusively in the U21 in the Westfalenliga. The winger collected over 30 points from 2023 to 2025 and was allowed to play in the first team five times. His goal against RW Oberhausen on April 26, 2025, is still well remembered by some SVR fans. Last summer, he moved to the newly founded Bielefeld U21, where he received the fifth most playing time among the field players. Alassane is expected to fill the gap left by Kerim Karyagdi's departure. In a performance test in Bielefeld at the beginning of the previous season, Alassane was measured with a speed of 36 km/h, the best value of all players under contract with Arminia, including the professionals. Other signings by SV Westfalia Rhynern are Safwane Errifai, Jaron Emilian Habekost, Lars Warschewski, Keanu Diskau, Elias Boadi Opoku and Simon Ole Schilling. Departures are Christopher Sander, Kerim Karyagdi, Wladimir Wagner, Henrik Koch and Mathis Paschko. So Alassane will now play for SV Westfalia Rhynern and not for Arminia Bielefeld's U21. But the transfer is beneficial for both sides, as Alassane will receive more playing time and SV Westfalia Rhynern will gain a strong striker.
